Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Puzzles Unlimited mobile application ("the App"), which includes the Zip, Wend, Mini Sudoku, and Tango puzzle games. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt its operation, reverse engineer it, or use it to cheat leaderboards or other players.

2. Leaderboards

Leaderboards let you submit a display name, best times, puzzles cleared, and badges, optionally alongside a country flag. You are responsible for the name you choose, and it must not be offensive, impersonate others, or violate any law. We may remove scores or names, and revoke leaderboard access, at our discretion.

3. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases through its Shop:

• Remove Ads: a one-time purchase that turns off rewarded ad prompts across the App.
• Hint and skip packs: consumable purchases that add hints or skips to your balance.

Purchases are billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat, which confirms your purchase and keeps your entitlements in sync across your devices. Prices, billing, and cancellation are handled by the app store you purchased through and are subject to that store's terms. Purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by law or the applicable app store's policy. Consumable items (hints, skips) are consumed on use and cannot be transferred or resold.

4. Rewarded Ads

The App offers rewarded ads, served through Google AdMob, that you can choose to watch in exchange for a hint, a skip, or extra plays once you've reached the free daily play limit. Watching an ad is always optional, and the reward is granted only after the ad finishes playing. We do not display banner or interstitial ads. Ad availability may vary by build or region and is not guaranteed.

5. Analytics

We use product analytics (PostHog) to record gameplay, purchase, and ad events so we can understand how the App is used and improve it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its puzzles, design, artwork, and code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or progress.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to features of the App, including leaderboard access, if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the App developer is based, without regard to conflict of law principles.
